The night before I had to go to school obviously I was nervous. My heart was beating because I was wondering if I would fit in. Before I went to sleep I ironed my clothes and brushed my teeth and went to sleep. When I got up I put my clothes on I had to wait on my slow brother and when he was ready we asked my dad to take us to school for the first day and he said yes. On the way to school first we had to take a train to where we would catch our bus. When we arrived it took a while for the bus to come when it did reach us we got on and went to school. I was kind of nervous but i wasn’t scared. The first friend I made his name was Tom and he is funny. I forgot to mention that I play basketball its my favorite sport.

Anyway the second day of my school I was playing basketball and I was really good so people were curious about where I came from and when I told them that I was from America there eyes opened wide like I was famous or something. The boy who was suppose to be the best ball player in this school wanted to play me to see if I could play. He told me to come to the basketball court at lunch so we could play and everyone said that they were going to come because nobody had beaten him before so I was thinking that if I beat him then I would take his popularity and school would be easier. Lunchtime came quicker than I wanted it to but I was ready for the game. As soon as I got there I took my stuff of and we started playing at first he was beating me the score was 1 to 6 his way. I wasn’t worried though. before you knew it was 6 to 6 and we were going to 11. Ten minutes went by and the score was 10 all.

I started to notice that we had been playing for 45 minutes and I was very tired I wanted to vomit but I held it in because one more shot and I won the game. The thing was if he made one more shot he won also so now only the strongest person would win and I wanted that person to be me. I shot the ball and missed he got that rebound and I started to watch him carefully he bounced the ball and I snatched it I immediately ran to the three point and he rushed towards me I jumped as high as I could and shot over him. At this point silence fell over everyone people were hanging form the fence the whole school was watching and just as I thought the would the ball fell through the net and I won everyone went crazy they were saying things like I was the best and that was one of the happiest moments in my life and now I was the most popular boy in the school. I was a basketball god.
